What is ForjCore?

ForjCore is a resistance-training sensor from FORJ that clips onto a standard weight-stack pin and measures force, velocity, and range of motion for every rep. Data streams over Bluetooth to the FORJ app so you can run velocity-based training (VBT), estimate 1RM, and monitor fatigue on the gym floor instead of in a lab.

Traditional gym logs record load and reps. ForjCore adds live kinematics — bar path on the stack, rep tempo, power, time under tension, and left-right limb symmetry — so coaches and clinicians can make programming decisions from measured output, not guesswork.

Coaches use mean or peak concentric velocity to auto-regulate load, end a set when velocity drops, and build load-velocity profiles. ForjCore captures that velocity on stack-loaded exercises in real time.
Clip ForjCore onto the pin of a weight stack, open the FORJ app, and train as usual. The sensor pairs over Bluetooth and records each rep automatically. The app shows live force, velocity, range of motion, and limb symmetry, then stores session history for trend analysis. No machine retrofit is required.
ForjCore attaches to a standard weight-stack pin, so it works on selectorised stack machines that use that pin format. It is not a bar-mounted linear encoder and is not designed for free-weight barbells. If your gym's pin-loaded machines use a conventional stack pin, you can move ForjCore between them.
